Getting Started with LuxurAI

Welcome to the official LuxurAI Developer and Integration Manual. LuxurAI is India's premier high-efficiency AI platform, engineered to serve advanced language modeling, studio-grade neural voice synthesis (322 models across 142 languages), and highly accurate agentic coding pipelines under one unified web, desktop, and Python SDK ecosystem.

This guide will walk you through setting up your environment, accessing the core services, and integrating the platform capabilities into your own products.

Technical Core Architecture

LuxurAI is architected with a decoupled structure. It is designed to be highly reliable, running a single robust backend server block that dynamically routes requests between internal databases, external model pipelines, and distributed Edge-TTS synthesis nodes.

🛠️ Developer Setup & Installation

If you are setting up the LuxurAI environment locally or preparing to deploy a private instance on your own cloud (such as an Oracle VM or Railway), follow these step-by-step setup guides:

1. Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following software runtimes installed on your machine:

  • Python: Version 3.10 or higher
  • Node.js: Version 18.0 or higher (for front-end builds and VitePress documentation)
  • Git: For codebase management and continuous deployment updates

2. Repository Installation

Clone the repository from your private GitHub organization:

bash
git clone https://github.com/Nexinova-AI/LuxurAI_2.git
cd LuxurAI_2

3. Backend Setup & Virtual Environment

Set up your Python virtual environment and install the required dependencies:

bash
# Create a virtual environment
python -m venv venv

# Activate the virtual environment
# On Windows:
.\venv\Scripts\activate
# On Linux/macOS:
source venv/bin/activate

# Install required Python modules
pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Running the Development Server

Launch the backend server locally:

bash
python main.py

By default, the FastAPI backend will spin up and listen on http://localhost:8000. You can verify that it is online by visiting the health endpoint at http://localhost:8000/health.

🔑 Environment Configuration

To operate the backend and unlock all advanced features, you must configure a .env file in your root directory with the following variables:

ini
# --- CORE SETTINGS ---
ENV=DEV # or PROD
JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret_key_here
DB_PATH=backend/data/luxurai.db

# --- PAYMENT GATEWAYS ---
CASHFREE_APP_ID=your_cashfree_app_id
CASHFREE_SECRET_KEY=your_cashfree_secret_key
CASHFREE_ENV=TEST # or PROD

RAZORPAY_KEY_ID=your_razorpay_key
RAZORPAY_KEY_SECRET=your_razorpay_secret

# --- AI & EXTERNAL MODEL PROVIDERS ---
GEMINI_KEYS=key1,key2,key3
DEEPSEEK_KEYS=key1,key2
EDGE_TTS_WORKER_URL=https://luxur-tts.achyut-aff.workers.dev

# --- CLOUD STORAGE ---
AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID=your_aws_key
AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY=your_aws_secret
AWS_S3_BUCKET=luxurai-assets

🚨 Troubleshooting

Port Conflicts (8000/5173)

If the port is already in use by another service on your server, you can specify a custom port when running:

bash
uvicorn backend.main:app --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8080 --reload

SQLite Database Corruptions

If the local SQLite database fails to load or locks up, verify that the containing folder has correct write permissions (chmod -R 755 backend/data). If running on Railway, ensure the SQLite database path is mounted on a persistent volume to prevent data loss upon container reboots.
